A combined Pest & Building Inspection allows you to purchase a Pre-Purchase Inspection in conjunction with a Pest and Termite Inspection. Having them both carried out simultaneously by two inspectors saves you time and money, receiving all your results within 24 hours at one low cost.
Our Pre-Purchase Inspections include a thorough inspection of the following areas of your property:
• boundary area, including fences, driveways, paths and outbuildings
• sub-floor area, including piers and footings, framing and termite caps
• roof cavity, including framing and insulation
• house interior, including door and window frames, walls and trimmings
• external roof, including tiles, flashings, guttering and downpipes
• exterior, including external walls and outdoor living areas
A Pest and Termite Inspection will include a thorough inspection of the roof void, interior, sub-floor areas and exterior of your property for evidence of infestation as well as any risk factors such as poor ventilation and dampness. We will inspect all woodwork for hollowness as well as taking thorough moisture readings from the various areas of your home to ensure our findings are accurate.
We will provide a report to you within 24 hours, which will include a detailed account with colour photographs of the state of each of the areas examined.
We will alert you to any major defects found in the property, and can recommend local and reliable trades-persons we trust to carry out any repairs you may wish to have completed.
All of our Building Inspections are carried out in accordance with Australian Standard 4349.1 and all of our Pest Inspections are carried out in accordance with Australian Standard 4349.3.
